Founded during the Great Depression on July 23, 1936, our credit union has its roots in the collaborative efforts of nineteen men employed by the Tennessee Coal, Iron and Railway Company. In a humble beginning, they pooled their resources in a cigar box with a mission to deliver outstanding financial services to the under-represented members of our community.
